Why Sangat Connect Exists
Sangat Connect is a youth-led initiative helping gurdwaras share important information through simple, opt-in digital newsletters. We work to complement existing communication channels with modern accessibility.
The problem
Gurdwaras already communicate through announcements, word-of-mouth, bulletin boards, and community networks, but some people — especially seniors, newcomers, youth, and those who can’t attend regularly — can still miss events, community resources, youth programs, and important announcements.
The solution
Sangat Connect works with partner gurdwaras to offer an opt-in digital newsletter. People choose to subscribe and receive relevant information by email. The partner gurdwara owns its subscriber list, and youth volunteers help operate the project, with the goal of easier access to important information for all.
